what has happened in 2024 with me

Hello all!

I know what everyone is thinking, a second post within the same month what is going on? I am just super keen to start getting out more post for you guys before the busy Christmas period is upon us and I have no spare time to do them. This post will be a more lengthy sort of post as I am more filling you guys in on what I have been up to and what has changed over the year in my life.

Well I will start with what to me was an emotional but also an exciting time, and that was moving out of the house where for the last 18 years I grew up in. So many memories happened in that house, whether they were sad like losing my first family pet Cody or happy memories spent with family that is no longer with us anymore. It wasn't just a house to me, it was my home, my and no matter what the future holds I will forever cherish all those fond times that happened there.

However my partner and myself got to move into our first house together, it definitely has a lot of little fix ups that we need to do but they aren't urgent. We also were fortunate enough to get a dual/separate living house so my mother and brother live in the section downstairs which they love!

Since that photo was taken I have taken out ALL the agapanthus, trees and shrubs from the yard and have replaced them with a Lilly Pilly hedge that will run along the right side of the yard and we will extend the driveway on the left side to the fence line to fit all three cars. I have added in a huge garden in the back yard to eventually provide privacy from the surrounding neighbours which once it grows in little more I will share the progress with everyone!

I have got a COUPLE new pets to add to the family, which if everyone has watched my latest YouTube video you would have seen most of them. Lets start off with introducing my four female guinea pigs with the following photos...

MAY
WINTER & AUTUMN
DAWN
Dawn is the newest arrival to the herd as the other ones were brought from a pet shop they were very skittish. I did some research if you add a tame piggy into the herd it can help the other ones trust humans more, and be less skittish and I can say it has definitely helped! They all live in a 6x2 C&C enclosure with a 2x2 loft. They absolutely love their home, always pop corning around and squealing with excitement!

Lastly is our new puppies, they are both Australian Shepherd X Border Collie and we got a brother and sister to hopefully keep each other company out in the yard throughout the day.

ELLIE & OLLIE
They are such cute pups, I wish I could say they were well behaved but sadly they are a handful and love to chew on anything that their eyes can see. Whether that be the fridge, wall or our brand new couch but I guess we did know that is what we signed up for!

Til next time, have a good one.
